As a social media manager, I have a genuine passion for various platforms, and TikTok particularly fascinates me. I manage several TikTok profiles, including both
business accounts and my personal one, which has nearly 4,000 followers and consistently gets a good number of views.
However, building my personal account has been a slow and steady journey. I've been sharing food and lifestyle videos for over a year now. While a few have gone 'viral,' I haven't seen the rapid follower growth that some might expect.
Recently, I came across a post by Kirsti Lang on Buffer, where she completed a 30-day TikTok challenge to grow her audience with impressive results. It got me thinking—was her success just a one-off, or could her approach really work for others too?
So, I've decided to put it to the test. Starting today, I'll be implementing her strategy on my Wilcox Media account, which currently has just 28 followers. Here’s the plan:
1. Post at least one video every day
2. Focus on a specific niche
3. Include trending audio in some of the videos
And that’s it! I’ll share regular updates on what’s working and what’s not, and I’ll provide a final summary at the end of the 30 days. Let's see if this approach can help my business TikTok account grow!
